Important: If you choose a different wood option (than composite material) and you select one mirror with Stain finish, then you will need to order the back plate separately (found in the accessories or HERE) so we can cover the back plate (back of the mirror) with a natural wood veneer that matches your wood option.
The back plate is constructed from a very moisture resistant composite material, which is great for keeping the door stable as it is subjected to temperature and humidity fluctuations. The trade off is that the material has a greenish cast to it, which will show through translucent finishes like stains and would not be very attractive in the finished product. This means that it is necessary to apply a natural wood veneer when selecting a non-standard wood.
Complete Kit: This kit includes everything you need to install your beautiful new sliding mirrored barn door and embellish your space. It includes the door leaf, handle and hardware, you can buy, mount and enjoy your new and long-lasting purchase.
Note: Solid Wood or Engineered Wood will be supplied without a standard finish (stain).
If you have not selected one of the standard finishes, we suggest that you paint the door within one week of delivery. Wood is a natural material that can be affected by humidity, temperature fluctuations, and exposure to sunlight. We are not responsible for damage caused by an untreated surface or lack of adequate protection. Please note the following.

Calculation of the door dimension in relation to the wall opening
Add at least 2" inches or more to the width and 1" inch or more to height e.g. your wall opening is 30" x 80" inches so your door dimensions at least should be 32" x 81" inches or more for a perfect fit.
