Calculation of the door dimension in relation to the wall opening
The installation of this sliding bathroom door requires that the door and the fixed panel overlap a minimum of 1 inch and a maximum of 2 inches, for this reason the door is 2 inches smaller than the fixed panel, so if you choose the 56" size, you are choosing a 29-1/2" panel and a 27-1/2" slab that together make 57 but you have to subtract at least one inch of overlap between both parts so you have a size of 56" wide by 81" high.
About the design
Our designs are made to look their best when there is a 1" overlap, the door can be installed perfectly and fully functional with a 2" overlap but this may affect the appearance of the design a little, it will affect some designs more than others so keep this in mind before choosing a particular size or design.
Please Notice: Shower Doors SANDBLASTING WILL BE ON THE EXTERIOR SURFACE. The surface that will have the Sandblasted Art will be to the exterior surface, OUTSIDE of the shower. The inside surface of the shower glass will be smooth glass that you can squeegee!
