This Pocket Door Frame is an easily assembled, premium quality commercial/residential kit for installing a pocket door into a 2x4 stud wall. Pocket doors do not need "swing" room, saving valuable floor space while still assuring the full privacy of a standard door. The 1500 Series Pocket Door Frame is perfect for the builder or Do-It-Yourselfer.
SMOOTH OPERATION
Aluminum track with convex rails, jump proof three wheel hangers. Heavy gauge steel components are zinc plated for a quality appearance.
EASY TO INSTALL
Comes with all necessary hardware, no drilling required. In addition to the frame, track and hangers, kit also includes door guide, adjustment wrench and door bumper. Frames can be cut down to fit any smaller door size.
Please Note
- If you choose any of the sizes (20", 22", 24", 26", 28", 32", 34", 38", 40", 42") the track will arrive slightly larger and will need to be cut a little to fit the desired size. This is a quick and easy process that will not cause you any inconvenience.
- When used in a Pocket Door Application, 28" is the minimum door width possible with Soft-Close/Open (soft opperation in both directions)
- 20" is the minimum door width possible with Soft-Close only (soft opperation in single direction) for soft close in one direction, a door hanger is required for proper operation. This accessory will be included automatically if you choose this option.
